Cosmetically Disturbing Skin Alterations

Frequently occurring benign, cosmetically disturbing skin alterations such as birthmarks, acne scars, fibromas, senile warts, pendunculated warts or also xanthelasmas or angiomas can be treated for the most part with ambulant surgical interventions.

Before the surgical intervention is undertaken, a preliminary talk is necessary. The skin area to be treated is examined and the further course of action is discussed at length with the patient. We perform most interventions under local anesthesia on an outpatient basis. In rare cases we advise short anesthesia.

The tissue removed in the intervention is histologically examined afterwards to secure the diagnosis.
