ANTI-AGING BY PLATELET-RICH PLASMA THERAPY
In order to intensify anti-aging treatments, the PRP (platelet-rich plasma therapy) also known as the Dracula Therapy is recommended.
The Dracula Therapy is a follow-up treatment, for example after microneedling or injections. The platelet rich plasma is massaged into the treated skin surface. This promotes the production of elastin and therefore accelerate the natural healing process enormously.
HOW WORKS THE PRP THERAPY?
To obtain the desired blood plasma, a sample of blood (no more than an average blood test) is taken from the arm. The blood is centrifuged and processed, so that a thick layer deposites at the top (platelet film also called buffy coat).
This layer contains thrombocytes as well as highly effective growth factors and will be carefully abstracted with a syringe and filled into a tube.
WHEN IS THE DRACULA THERAPY APPLIED?
- After treatments with the Fraxel laser
- Injections
- Microneedling
WHAT NEEDS TO BE CONSIDERED?
Your doctor will discuss this type of treatment in advance with you. If you would like this treatment a sample of blood is taken and centrifuged. Thus, the blood plasma splits off from the rest of the blood.
