AGAINST VISIBLE VESSELS

IPL is short for IntensePulsedLight.

The tissue of the human body absorbs light at different intensities. The IPL method uses this feature to send direct short flashes of light to the specific location. The affected tissue is overheated and destroyed. The advantage of this method is that the surrounding tissue is not affected.

WHAT CAN BE TREATED WITH THE IPL LASER?

  • Capillaries and vessels
  • Pigmentation spots
  • Acne
  • Rosacea

FREQUENCY OF THE TREATMENT

To obtain the best results, multiple sessions are required. The amount of session is dependent on the skin type, the hair colour and the area in which the treatment is conducted.

WHAT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED WITH THIS TREATMENT

There is no anaesthesia needed. However, it is recommended to undertake the treatment during the sunless season. The treated area should not be exposed to intense sunlight for 4 weeks after the treatment. As this could cause alteration in pigmentation. However, with this treatment there is no downtime for the patient expected.
